Scholars Hub — a 200+ product Shopify store

A Surrey school-supplies retailer needed a full online store with a large product catalogue. IshaanEx Digital built and set up the entire Shopify ecommerce store end to end: 200+ products, nine category collections, payments, inventory, and shipping. It is live now at scholarshub.ca.

IshaanEx Digital built scholarshub.ca, a Shopify ecommerce store for Scholars Hub — a Surrey, BC school-supplies retailer — stocking 200+ products across nine category collections. It is a real, large online store you can open and shop today, built end to end on Shopify — from the first product to checkout.

The Scholars Hub story

An online store built to sell, not just to show.

Jaspal Singh wanted to sell school supplies online across Canada — pencils, notebooks, backpacks, art kits, classroom essentials, and tech. That is a full product catalogue, and it needs a real store behind it.

Selling products online is a different job from a local-service website. A plumber or a contractor needs a handful of pages that explain the work and bring in calls. An online store needs a cart, a checkout, payment processing, inventory, shipping rules, returns, and a category structure a shopper can actually browse. Get any of those wrong and the store does not sell.

Jaspal found me the way most of my clients do — he saw one of my Facebook reels where I was sharing what I know, not selling, and reached out. We met in person, he shared his plan, and I built the whole thing on Shopify — the right platform for a catalogue this size, with payments, inventory, and shipping built in rather than bolted on. I set up the full store: more than 200 individual products loaded into nine category collections — Art Supplies, Backpacks & Bags, Binders & Organization, Books and Learning, Classroom Essentials, Health and Safety, Notebook and Papers, Pencils & Pens, and Tech and Accessory — plus the pages a real store needs: search, contact, privacy, refund, shipping, and terms. It was a big build — about a month of work end to end.

The result is a clean, fast back-to-school store a shopper can land on, browse by category, and buy from. It is live now at scholarshub.ca, and the store links back to our web design in Abbotsford page — a real, named build you can open and check yourself.

Why it matters: a lot of agencies say they "do ecommerce." This is the proof. One live, named Shopify store with 200+ products, run by a real Surrey owner who left a public Google review. That is the difference between a claim and evidence — a full product catalogue, designed, loaded, and launched.

The lesson: use the right platform for the job. A store with 200 products needs one built for selling — Shopify has the cart, checkout, and payments ready to go. Pick the right tool and the store works from day one. Pick the wrong one and you fight it for months.

“IshaanEx Digital set up my entire E-commerce store. He is a great person to work with. I met him personally and shared my plan and he set up my entire Shopify store and met my expectations. So glad I worked with him.”
— Jaspal Singh, Scholars Hub · Surrey, BC (Google review)
